We love showcasing original stories from our community. If you’d like your work to be considered for narration and publication on one of our channels, please read the rules below and submit your story using the form provided.
Submission Rules
1. Age Requirement
You must be 18 years or older to submit a story.
2. Family‑Friendly Content (Main Channel)
The Skeptisch channel is intended to be suitable for all ages. Please do not submit stories that include:
- Unnecessary violence or criminal behaviour
- Graphic or explicit sexual content
- Shock, gore, or disturbing material
Stories should be appropriate for a general audience.
3. No Discrimination or Hate
We will not accept any story that contains:
- Racism
- Sexism
- Homophobia or transphobia
- Religious discrimination
- Harassment, bullying, or belittling of any group
We aim to create a respectful, inclusive environment for everyone.
4. Original Work Only
By submitting a story, you confirm that:
- The story is your own original work
- It has not been published elsewhere
- It does not infringe on any copyright or intellectual property
- It does not contain AI‑generated text copied from copyrighted sources
- You accept full responsibility for any legal claims arising from your submission
5. Licence to Use Your Story
You retain full copyright to your story.
By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty‑free licence to:
- Read and narrate your story
- Edit or adapt it for clarity, pacing, or legal reasons
- Create visuals or audio based on it
- Publish it on our YouTube channels
- Monetise the resulting videos
- Keep the video online indefinitely
- Use the video in compilations or promotional material
We will notify you before publication and provide a preview.
6. Right to Decline
We reserve the right to decline any submission for any reason, without explanation.
7. Adult‑Oriented Stories
If your story is not suitable for the family‑friendly channel but is still of high quality, we may publish it on a separate adults‑only channel operated by us.
8. Credit
Please tell us how you would like to be credited:
- Real name
- Pen name
- Anonymous
Your preference will appear in the video description unless otherwise agreed.
9. Privacy
Any personal information you provide will be used only to contact you about your submission. It will not be shared or sold, unless required by law.
Notes
Your Real Name, Date of Birth and Address will not be published on the channel, but we need them for legal purposes. Your personal data will be held on file for as long as your story is active on our channel, however it will not be shared with anyone except if required to do so by law enforcement.
Please Note: Our channel is not currently monetised; therefore we cannot offer payment for your story at present. In the future we may monetise the channel and be able to offer a small payment for your story (depending on number views your story receives and if donations received are greater than our costs), but at present this is not guaranteed, and you should submit your story on the understanding that you are doing so freely with no expectation of any monetary reward.
